This is an exciting opportunity to join the patient care team in our busy state-of-the-art Hospital.

You will be part of the nursing team and will be responsible for providing nursing support out-of-hours, serving the ICU, wards, pharmacy, theatre and other areas within the Hospital.

You will be a qualified Veterinary Nurse with relevant experience, and excellent nursing and interpersonal skills.

The Night Patient Care Nurse will be required to work a pattern of 3 nights on duty (11 hours; 12 hours with a break) followed by 6 nights off duty continuously, including weekends, Bank holidays and University closed days.

The salary is pro-rata, plus night enhancement and holiday allowance. To ensure consistent cover, you will be required to cover the absences of other night nurses. The hours of the post are determined by operational need: flexibility is expected.
