Summary
Active 38yr old woman with learning disability, autism and well controlled epilepsy keen to expand an existing team, funded by direct payment.
Own tenancy, based in Musselburgh.
Full UK licence and car essential, mileage at 50p per mile.
Looking for females (genuine occupational requirement) with experience of autism to fill a week day each, shift would be same weekday, either a Tuesday Wednesday or Thursday, 9 to 4:30, start time could possibly be negotiated.
Rate £13.81 per hr.
Main duties would be to support with existing activities in the community, help maintain and encourage social contacts, and assist with general housekeeping within the home.
Interests include meeting friends, theatre, healthy food, knitting and sports. Keen to attend gym again.
Would suit an active person with a good understanding of the challenges autism can present.
Contracted employment with annual leave, pension contribution. 1 month probationary period.
Post offered on completion of paid trail shifts.
