Summary
Masstemps are currently recruiting for a skilled Powder Coater to join our busy client based in Worcester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying powder coating to various metal components, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets industry standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for powder coating by cleaning, sanding, or masking as necessary.
Operate powder coating equipment and apply coatings evenly to products.
Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications.
Maintain and troubleshoot powder coating machinery and equipment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to assemble and weld components as needed.
Experience in painting techniques, particularly powder coating processes.
Basic maths skills for measuring and mixing materials accurately.
Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous but not essential.
Hours of work:
Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:30pm with 1pm finish on Friday.
Rate of pay:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour
