Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one consultations with clients to assess their retirement housing needs and preferences.
Research and recommend appropriate retirement housing options based on client assessments.
Develop and maintain relationships with retirement communities to stay informed about availability and services.
Provide clients with updated information regarding housing options, community resources, and financial considerations.
Assist clients in the application and placement process to ensure a smooth transition to their new living arrangements.
Offer support and guidance to families in understanding their loved ones' needs during the housing search process.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to senior housing.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in social work, gerontology, or a related field.
Proven experience in senior housing, elder care, or a similar advisory role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families.
Ability to understand and empathize with the challenges faced by seniors and their families.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively.
Knowledge of local resources and services available for seniors and their families.
Competence in using technology and software for client management and information sharing.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 08:30
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £15.00
