Summary
Asa Clerical Bank workeryoumaybethefirstpointofcontactforpatientsacross Mid and South Essex, answering important queries and providing reassurance where required.Youwillbeexpectedtomanageandamendappointmentsandclinicsthroughclear communication and the confident use of systems, working within the Trust’s policies, procedures, and Trust values.
We currently have lines of work 3 months+ available at our Basildon site with an immediate start post recruitment checks being completed and would normally expect Clerical bank work to cover the Monday to Friday working week.
● Ensuretargetsaremetwithfutureappointmentsbookedinreceiptofreferral
● Canceland/orrestructureclinics,maketemplatechangesandensureallarefullyutilised
● Prioritiseworkloadandescalateanyrelevantissueseffectively
● Sensitivelyexplainwhenappointmentshavebeencancelledorchangedandnegotiate a new booking with patients
● Dealwithpatientcomplaints/challengingconversationswhennecessary
● The post will vary depending on the assignment and location of role to enable to contribute to an efficient cost effective service across the Trust
● General Administration skills and experience are essential alongside excellent time management, organisational and communication skills
● All Temporary Staffing workers should have a flexible approach to work
● Strongverbalcommunicationskillsarerequiredwhenconversingwithpatients/carers and members of the team
● Maintaingoodrelationshipsandanempatheticapproachtopatientsandpatients’relatives
