About the Role:
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Sheltered Housing Officer to join their team on a temporary basis for two months. This role is ideal for a dedicated housing professional who is passionate about supporting older people and ensuring their housing needs are met in a safe and well-managed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
+Deliver high-quality housing management services and support to older residents
+Ensure health and fire safety compliance within sheltered housing schemes
+Provide excellent customer service, supporting tenants to maintain their independence
+Respond effectively to emergencies and urgent housing-related situations
+Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve service objectives
+Resolve disputes and support tenants in a professional and constructive manner
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
+Proven experience in housing management and support for older people
+Strong knowledge of health and fire safety in supported housing environments
+Experience in delivering exceptional customer service to tenants
+Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
+Experience in handling emergencies and managing conflict in a housing setting
Additional Requirements:
+Enhanced DBS check (required).
+Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
