Summary
The Role:
In the newly created role of an operations manager, this is an opportunity for a fashion-conscious and energetic individual to develop a career in the wholesale supply of used clothing and shoes.
GENERAL DUTIES:
- Lead & manage warehouse operational team
- Manage used clothing and shoes sorting and grading process, packaging and inventory management
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Manage e-commerce (website, third party platforms) and marketing (Social media, leaflets, email and telephone)
- Manage used clothing and shoes sorting & grading process, packaging and inventory management
- Assigns tasks, monitors and reviews staff performance
- Other duties will include anything related to the smooth running of the business as and when require
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Must be eligible for unrestricted employment in the UK
2. Must hold a valid passport
3. Must be fluent in English, Urdu and Pashto in order to communicate effectively with our customers and suppliers overseas
4. Managerial wholesale or retail experience in clothing/apparel required.
5. Must have basic IT skills
6. Understanding of the sorting, grading and packaging of used clothing
7. Good communication and people management skills
8. Must be able to work in a dusty environment
