Summary
Tendring District Council’s Engineering Service team are seeking to recruit an Engineering Technician, to undertake a wide range of duties relating to minor engineering and building maintenance works within the Tendring District and Council buildings.
Applications are welcome from candidates that have 3 years or more proven experienced, within the below background: -
- Experience at craft level civil engineering, construction, or related industries
- NVQ or similar in Carpentry, bricklaying, concrete finishing, or drainage (similar level of ability achieved from experience will be considered)
- CITB plant operator’s license
- Plumbing
A successful candidate will need to provide evidence of qualifications and training, NVQ or time served.
Applicants must have good communication and organisation skills, be able to work on own initiative and have previous relevant experience. Previous use of using PDA’s to receive and progress work orders with be desirable, but training will be given.
