About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Tax Incentives Team Manager to lead a team of Tax Analysts, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality service. This role is ideal for a proactive leader with expertise in tax incentives and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and oversee a team of Tax Analysts, delegating tasks effectively.

  • Monitor team performance to maintain high standards.

  • Provide coaching and support to enhance efficiency.

  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous development.

  • Review and approve tax calculations and documentation for accuracy and compliance.

  • Manage amended corporation tax return submissions and additional information requests.

  • Stay updated on tax incentive regulations and provide expert guidance.

  • Improve systems and processes for better departmental function.

  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory standards.

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to tax incentive claims.

  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance communication and alignment.

  • Generate and review departmental reports as needed.

Skills and Experience Required: Essential:
  • Strong knowledge of corporate tax incentives, including R&D Tax Credits, Embedded Capital Allowances, and Land Remediation Relief.

  • Proven experience managing a tax incentives team.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Effective problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with relevant technology.

Desirable:
  • ATT / CTA qualification or equivalent.

  • Experience working with multinational firms.
