In this role you will provide support to the Enforcement Transformation Product Manager (ETPM) across Enforcement transformation projects. You will work with Service Owners to ensure that transformation visions are based on customer and user needs and drive continual improvement and transformation that will lead to the delivery of the Enforcement Strategy and efficiency savings.

You will support the development and prioritisation of project roadmaps and backlogs, and co-ordinate the gathering of customer/end-user requirements along with the policy, legislation and regulations to enable the delivery of an efficient service.

You will collaborate with key stakeholders and end users to ensure they are clear on the benefits of the product and that their feedback is being used to inform ongoing improvements. You will provide advice and support to the ETPM to influence stakeholders during decision and policy-making processes.

This role provides a great opportunity to develop of range of Project Delivery skills.

As Enforcement Transformation Associate Product Manager, your key duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a leader of service transformation across DVSA, advocating collaborative working and learning across all services with internal and external parties.
  • Acting as single point of contact for specific projects, feeding through any escalation points to the ETPM on any areas of uncertainty or concern.
  • Supporting the ETPM on the production of business cases, project documentation and progress reports as required in accordance with DVSA’s defined governance arrangements.
  • Providing subject matter Expert (SME) knowledge and expertise for the directorate and acting as an advocate to develop improved ways of working.
  • Collaborating with other managers across all functions for the good of DVSA and to create a high performing and well-respected Agency.
  • Representing the enforcement directorate, where required as SME, at networking events, conferences and exhibitions to enhance and strengthen the Agency’s profile.
