Summary
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently seeking Dispatch Packing Operatives to join a reputable specialist metal stockholding client in the UK.
As a Dispatch Packer, your responsibilities will include:
• Organising goods in / goods out
• Locating and moving stock efficiently
• Stamping billets with precision and care
• FLT (Reach and/or Counterbalance B1) licence and experience are essential
• The role involves 60% manual packing and 40% FLT duties
Ideal candidates will possess:
• Previous experience in order picking or using a picking system
• A strong work history and a commitment to long-term employment
• A desire to build a stable and settled career (job hoppers will not be considered)
• Forklift truck experience
Hours and pay:
• Rotational shifts – early days and mid shifts
• Starting at £12.64 per hour, with overtime available at enhanced rates
• Overtime pay (x1.5 during the week, x2 on Saturdays, and double time for Sundays & Bank Holidays)
