Delivering World-Class Products
Join us as a QA Tester in our Digital Workspaces Test team, working across all things Desktop related. You will enable our colleagues to deliver for our customers by ensuring that any changes to Desktop software/services are rigorously tested.
You'll need to be good a delivering information to people, technical and non-technical, in this role as you will communicate updates to relevant business users.
You will collaborate with our Release, Product and Project teams to ensure that testing is effective and that User Acceptance Testing is conducted efficiently.
You will triage and escalate any defects to colleagues, and maintain full traceability of defects, tests and requirements.

Technical statement:
- Experience of establishing professional relationships with a range of stakeholders
Personal Statement:
- Experience of communicating with other teams and sharing knowledge.
- Experience reviewing requirements, specifications and defining test conditions.
- Experience of executing test scripts and developing reusable test collateral.
- Experience of test planning and estimation.
- Experience of the defect management process, acting as a conduit between differing roles to drive resolution of issues preventing delivery of testing activities.

Location: You'll join us in one of our brilliant digital hubs in Birmingham, Blackpool, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle or Sheffield.
Hybrid Working: We work a hybrid model - you'll spend some time working at home and some time collaborating face to face in a hub.
Pay: We offer competitive pay of £37,497.
Pension: You'll get a brilliant civil service pension with employer contributions worth 28.97%.
