We are looking to recruit a full time Technician/Trainer with a relevant trade qualification as well as experience of working in the construction industry. Applications are welcome from those seeking a change in career, or already working within Further Education and are keen to progress their career. Although we are ideally looking for full time, we will also consider part time applications.
Working at our Aldershot College the post requirement is to support students undertaking construction qualifications and other building related courses, duties include instructing students, ordering and preparing materials and equipment for practical activities; as well as keeping equipment in good repair.
Applicants will hold a recognised qualification, plus industry experience in at least one of the following areas: Electrical Installation, Plumbing, Brickwork or Carpentry. Applicants should be organised, highly motivated and a proactive team player with excellent communication skills.
In addition, you need to be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can engage with FE students to ensure that they reach their full potential.
