Do you have a PGCE or HLTA qualification and looking for an exciting new role for the new academic year?
Can you positively handle challenging behaviour within the classrooms?
Are you able to confidently teach different subject areas and disciplines?
TeacherActive are currently looking for driven Cover Supervisors who showcase strong behaviour management skills alongside a creative and nurturing mentality that they can apply into their teaching style. As a Secondary Cover Supervisor, you will be expected to work alongside forward thinking staff to implement a unique and innovative curriculum. We have both day to day and long term opportunities available across South Wales and you will be working across both KS3 and KS4 so having previous experience working with this age range is preferred but not a requirement.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
• Level 3 or HLTA qualification (not a requirement but valuable)
• PGCE or PCET qualifications will also be accepted
• Excellent classroom management skills
• Knowledge of the curriculum for Wales framework and expectations
• An understanding of planning and assessment expectations
