Summary
Brookstreet UK Ltd are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for our client, who are a leading manufacturer based in Newtownabbey
This role is full time and permanent
Salary will be £26-27k (but then total earnings are closer to £30k with on call)
Successful applicants do have to be available for 24/7 on call on a rota basis.
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for:
- Repairing and servicing competitors' equipment
- Installing, collecting, and exchanging equipment
- Cleaning products according to company infection control policy
- Maintaining accurate documentation and paperwork1
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently service and repair a range of company and competitor products
- Plan daily work to maximize productivity
- Travel between sites, including customers' homes
- Provide excellent customer service
- Manage stock levels on company van
- Complete and return all paperwork accurately and timely
- Participate in on-call rota
Required Skills and Knowledge
The role requires knowledge in various areas, including:
- Various types of medical beds and seating
- Patient mobility equipment (wheelchairs, hoists, lifts)
- LOLER regulations and testing
- Infection control
- Inventory management
- Additional advantageous skills include PAT testing, First Aid Training, and Fire Warden certification
