Summary
For further information on this role, please see the attached detailed Job Description and Person Specification To ensure that staff working under the licence are aware of the requirements by providing education, presentations and training To ensure staff responsible for consent for collection of tissues and cells have up to date HTA consent training on the Learning Hub. Ensure staff are compliant with and maintain their HTA training and review this regularly for relevant members of the team. To undertake validations of equipment and processes. To ensure along with line managers that staff working under the licence have up-to-date training and competency records. To liaise with Estates, and with departments such as theatres/apheresis where tissues and cells are procured, to ensure a suitable validated environment for collection and that appropriate risk assessments have been carried out. To ensure that maintenance records are available for equipment used in the procurement of tissues and cells and that records of serial and lot numbers are recorded to ensure full traceability.
