To begin, you will receive a comprehensive introduction to the workplace as a member of the site NPD team. Subsequently, you will be provided with support and training in different food specification disciplines. Your responsibilities will include updating and approving raw material and finished product specifications for our brands and retail customers, ensuring compliance with current food regulations and technical information. Additionally, you will play a key role in updating and approving specifications for our brands and retail customers.

As part of your responsibilities, you will:
• Manage and update raw material specifications and associated information.
• Resolve any issues related to raw materials promptly.
• Coordinate and approve new and alternative raw material specifications.
• Assist and support the NPD and process team in alternative supply projects (such as harmonization, consolidation, vertical integration, and cost reduction).
• Run mixes in the pilot plant as needed and learn the techniques required for kitchen sample production.
• Develop the skills necessary for writing finished product specifications to be able to provide support when required.
• Review raw material and supplier information for the customer spec team.
• Assist suppliers during the implementation of supply portals.

To be considered for this position, you should possess the following skills, qualifications, and experience:
• A degree in a food science or a technical/quality-related field.
• A genuine passion for the food industry, with a strong technical focus and high motivation.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A keen eye for detail and a genuine enthusiasm for the food industry.
• Effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the development process.
• Commitment to working together as a team to achieve optimal outcomes, with a strong focus on customer service.
