Summary
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse cost estimates for HVAC projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost benefit analysis
- Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
- Evaluate and manage project risks related to cost control
- Prepare progress reports and financial forecasts for management
- Develop and issue program of works and associated Risk assessments when required
- Prepare and submit quality documents associated to project specifics
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity and Estimating or advanced industry experience, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor/Estimator or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
- Proficient in using cost estimating software/excel and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Build strong supplier and contractor relationships
