Summary
We are seeking a Service Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a desire to work in mechanical repairs and maintenance, demonstrating expertise in servicing issues efficiently. This role is essential for ensuring the optimal performance of our machinery and vehicles, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake checks, and tyre rotations.
Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in the workshop or on-site.
Keep the workspace clean and organised, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of vehicles and servicing.
Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanics or automotive technology are desirable but not mandatory.
A valid driving licence is required.
