Summary
To send and receive confidential patient information to and from other healthcare organisations, patients, carers and relatives. Manage paper based or electronic diaries for the Consultant and their Team. Process incoming mail. Ensure all referrals and internal referrals are passed to the appropriate Booking Team. Deal with telephone calls into the hospital, a first point of contact. Regularly check digital dictating system for urgent work and prioritise workload.
