Summary

The Early Intervention Service is committed to: Providing early assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for FEP. Delivering culturally sensitive, person-centered care, with a focus on stability, skill development, and social role recovery. Promoting both symptomatic and social recovery through effective engagement with service users. Ensuring the initial experience of service contact is neither disconcerting nor stigmatizing. Educating and supporting carers, involving them as fully as possible in the care process. You will be responsible for assisting individuals in identifying their support needs and contributing to their recovery plans. This includes practical tasks to support keyworkers and contributing to group programs for service users. Applicants should demonstrate: A knowledge of mental health conditions and psycho-social interventions for individuals experiencing FEP. A commitment to working in a community mental health setting, with prior experience in mental health being highly desirable. A proactive and supportive approach, with access to clinical supervision, peer support, and training through the Early Intervention Training Programme. This role provides an opportunity to grow professionally in a supportive environment while contributing to the development and evaluation of group programs for service users.
