Summary
Band 5 We have a dedicated team of community recruitment and retention midwives to support, guide and develop newly qualified and experienced band 5 midwives in our service. We offer a dedicated preceptorship pathway in community which includes specially designed clinical templates, supernumerary time, teaching and assessments . This ensure you are able consolidate the theory and practice acquired during midwifery training in order to maintain a high standard of midwifery care, at all times with the support of the multi-disciplinary team around you. You will be facilitated to acquire additional competencies in order to achieve a band 6 role in community. Band 6 You are empowered to develop as a band 6 in the direction that you wish and will be supported with your own personal and professional development needs, enabling further progression. We have a management team dedicated to ensure that you will fulfil your potential and enhance your midwifery skills and offer opportunities for development. Our Maternity service is dynamic and we are excited about the transition to digital systems, new infrastructure with significant investment in resources. We look forward to hearing from you!
