Personal Assistant-Preston area
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to provide support to an 8 year old boy with High Functioning Autism, and Segmental Spinal Dysgenesis within the home and local community.
If you have a good sense of humour, are energetic and enjoy sports this role may be just right for you.
As a Personal Assistant your duties will include supporting with some personal care, accompany the child to access the community to engage in leisure activities such as basketball, football, soft play, and tennis. He also loves Lego and gaming.
We are looking for a kind, proactive and motivated individual with a passion for supporting children.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, but a positive attitude and good work ethic is essential. You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
This is a part time position to be worked as follows:
2 hours per week term time x 38 weeks, plus 10 hours per week non term time x 14 weeks, with an hourly rate of £11.44 plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be met by the employer.
