This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.

Day to day duties of the role

Provide information and advice about progression to Higher Education at the same time supporting the University Centre Weston in promoting its own HE provision to potential and current students.
Provide effective information, advice and guidance to learners and their key influencers on Higher Education, progression options and UCAS processes.
Create, deliver and coordinate a suite of UCAS tutorials to all level 3 learners, working with the other staff to ensure a joined up approach.
Co-ordinate the UCAS application process for the College ensuring timely and quality applications are submitted.

Required skills and qualifications

Qualification in Advice & Guidance to a minimum of level 3.
Demonstrable experience of careers guidance in an education setting.
Ability to deliver effectively to large groups.
Able to work as a member of a team with good interpersonal skills and to be adaptable.
