The job role
We are looking for an experienced cost accountant to join our team of Cost and Production Analysts in the South West. As well as budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis our team also play an important part supporting our managers to understand our results, help them identify opportunities for efficiencies and cost savings. You will also get the opportunity to visit our sites whether it be mining, refining, secondary processing, drying etc to conduct audits and fixed asset inventories.

You will:
• Maintain the health, safety and environmental standards on site, for yourself and others around you
• Be a part qualified accountant and working towards your professional exams (we can also support you with this)
• Have experience of cost accounting ideally within an industrial environment
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to work autonomously but also enjoy working as part of a wider team
• Have a clean UK driving licence or equivalent
• Access to your own vehicle
