We are looking for an experienced facilities worker to join us as a Business & Facilities Officer, within a national policing unit.

More about the role

The successful candidate will manage all statutory requirements and planned preventative maintenance activities. This will require coordination of all office project change requests, Including on-site contractor management for larger projects.

The role holder will need to carry out regular Health, Safety, & Fire audits within the office areas, and be responsible for coordination of room set-ups for internal and external meetings.

Management and delivery for consumable stock for operational requirements will also be required.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to Educated to QCF Level 3 plus English & Mathematics at QCF Level 2 OR work experience deemed to have brought the postholder to a comparable level.

Essential Experience
Good attention to detail
Proven experience in a facilities/maintenance role, including supervision of building contractors
Proven experience of staff supervision, including allocating and prioritising work and undertaking staff appraisals and assessments.
Direct involvement with health and safety issues and resolution
Experience of using Microsoft Office systems (WORD/EXCEL)
