Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join our team at Pod, a leading provider of promotional gifts and custom merchandise. The Production Assistant will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of production processes, helping us deliver high-quality products to our clients on time.
Key Responsibilities:
• Production Support: Assist in the assembly, packaging, and quality control of promotional products.
• Order Management: Collaborate with the production team to fulfill customer orders accurately and on schedule.
• Inventory Control: Help manage stock levels, organize materials, and track inventory to prevent shortages.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect products for defects, ensuring they meet the company’s quality standards.
• Equipment Operation: Operate machinery such as printers, heat presses, or engraving tools as needed (training provided).
• Shipping & Receiving: Prepare products for shipment, label packages, and coordinate with couriers for timely delivery.
• Documentation: Maintain production records, update order logs, and assist with administrative tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with designers, sales teams, and production supervisors to ensure customer satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office, email).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and tools.
• Experience in production or manufacturing is a plus but not required.
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or workshop environment.
