What skills and experience we're looking for

The Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational full-time teacher to lead and develop our onsite SEND Learning Hub of up to 30 students aged between 11 to 16 years. Reporting to the SENDCO, the successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning. Someone who is dedicated to achieving excellence for all and a person who has impacted positively on the learning of students with special educational needs and abilities.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone wanting to take responsibility for an extremely important part of our school. You should have already demonstrated excellent leadership and management skills, be committed to inclusion and the well-being of every child and be an outstanding role model in your professional practice.

The position would suit an outstanding primary or secondary teacher or SEND specialist looking for a new challenge. The person appointed to this post will be expected to demonstrate the skills, knowledge and understanding of a highly competent teacher and to be the Academic Lead of the Learning Hub. This rewarding role requires someone exceptional, energetic and resourceful.

You would join our highly successful Learning Hub team including the SENDCO, SEND Manager, HLTAs and SSAs who are all passionate about delivering a high-quality engaging curriculum to our SEND students in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
