Summary
Service Care Solutions are currently working alongside an expanding local authority based in South Yorkshire. They are looking for an Governance Lawyer to join their expanding legal team.

This role pays a competitive rate of £50-£60 an hour umbrella depending on experience.
This role is on a Hybrid basis and on a 3 month contract but potential to extend
Responsibilities as a Governance Lawyer:
- Able to handle high caseload in Governance Law from start to completion.
- Advising on the legal requirements and limitations of a committee system of governance (including area committees)
- Advising on the legal requirements of the Council's constitution and contributing to a review of the constitution
About you as a Governance Lawyer:
- 3 years PQE in Governance law with experience in working with a Local Authority
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Capable of reading and understanding large amount of documents quickly
