Are you a highly motivated and enthusiastic RMN interested in joining our dynamic Adult Home Treatment Team?

HTT work with service users presenting in acute mental health crisis, preventing hospital admission and supporting early discharge from hospital. The service works closely with both the inpatient ward and Community Mental Health Team, all based at the Riverside Centre, Hillingdon Hospital. The service runs 7 days a week 8-830PM 365 days a year.

The Team provides crisis response and assessment, and also acute home treatment to people with mental health problems at risk of admission to hospital. A psychologist will be expected to provide brief focused assessment and treatment to people with defined common mental health difficulties.

They will co-ordinate the care of patients of the HTT, and assist in the promotion of the use of evidence-based practice through the provision of clinical advice and support; acting as a role model; and providing education and training where appropriate. They will liaise closely with the Trustwide Single Point of Access / Central Flow Hub providing rapid response to mental health crisis situations where necessary and appropriate.

To participate in the implementation of professional and Trust-wide clinical policies.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a sound understanding of current government legislation, the ability to work as part of a MDT and provide high quality care with evidence based therapeutic interventions.

The Riverside Centre is in the grounds of Hillingdon Hospital.
