Monday - Friday (flexibility between 05.00am -17.00pm required and occasional working required)

You can expect to earn between £34,000 - £36,000 per annum

Acorn by Synergie is currently recruiting on behalf of their client for an Asphalt Batch Plant Operative. This is a temporary to permament position for the right candidate.

What's on offer
* a competitive basic hourly rate of £14.31 per hour
* Overtime available at x1.5 (after 40 hours per week & all day Saturdays) and x2 (Sundays and bank holidays)

The role
* Involved in the funtion of asphalt production facility
* Batching asphalt
* Basic maintenance and cleaning of all plant equipment
* Using IT systems


What you need
* Ideally experienced working with an asphalt plant, but would consider concrete, cement, mortar, aggregates, or quarrying
* Understanding of basic maintenance of plant equipment
* Experience of working in an environment where H&S is paramount
