Summary
An International Nanny is needed by this wonderful family based in Los Angeles, California USA to assist them in looking after their two charming toddlers and school-aged child. The family describe themselves as an alternative family, not traditional, they don't do discipline and are very involved in their children's lives. They already hired another nanny and needs a second pair of hands to work alongside her so someone who is a great team player is a big factor for this role. They are very hands-on and are looking for someone who is understanding of this approach and willing to work with them as a team.
All nanny duties will be required such as organising activities, going to playdates and after-school clubs and liaising with the school. The family employ a Housekeeper so there is no deep cleaning needed apart keeping the area tidy and packing/unpacking for holidays. The nanny will be expected to cook and prepare meals for the children. They seek someone who is willing to take a long term contract, who is fun, nice to live with during holidays, with good vibes and who is passionate about their jobs. It is ideal that the nanny holds a UK passport or the right to work in the UK as they frequently travel and must be comfortable joining them when they travel internationally.
They prefer someone who has a good level of English. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday for around 50 to 55 hours per week on a flexible schedule
Accommodation: The nanny will be able to stay in the guest bedroom until she finds a room/place to rent with the living allowance
Duties include:
preparing healthy meals for the children
school runs
planning and supervising playdates
taking them to the park and playgrounds
playing active games with them
arts and crafts
messy play
laundry
ironing
cleaning up after the children's meals
ensuring toys are put away and play areas are tidy
getting the children ready for bed by helping them to brush their teeth and change into their pyjamas
The family seeks someone who can start immediately.
