Summary
My client is looking for a Caretaker to work at a School around the Sevenoaks area. This is a Full-time Permanent Position, and it will be working all year round.
You will be expected to work the following hours on a 2 week shift pattern:
Week A- 7am-3pm (Monday-Friday)
Week B- 8am-4pm (Monday-Friday)
Salary: KR 5 (£24,040-£25,002)
This position will be responsible for assisting in the cleaning, maintenance and caretaking activities at the school, as directed by the Facilities Manager and Site Manager. They will be expected to have experience in building maintenance and cleaning and skills in a number of caretaking disciplines.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible and self-motivated, have good communication skills and a good understanding of the health and safety requirements of a large site. Previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous but is not essential. There will be a need for good time management, to prioritise duties and work on their own initiative. The successful candidate will ensure the school site is maintained to the highest standard that will offer all our children the best learning environment both indoors and out.
