Are you an experienced and qualified Social Worker looking for your next opportunity? Join Derbyshire County Council as an Advanced Social Worker in our South Social Work Team, supporting adults in the Amber Valley area.
Key Details
Contract Duration: 27 January 2025 – 28 March 2025
Working Hours: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday
Work Arrangements: Hybrid working
Minimum one day per week in the office
Daily travel required for visits in the locality
Role Responsibilities
Provide high-quality social work services to adults in need of support and care.
Undertake assessments and develop care plans in line with statutory frameworks.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, external partners, and service users to ensure holistic care delivery.
Maintain accurate case records and adhere to professional standards and guidelines.
Requirements
A recognised qualification in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England.
Experience working in adult social care, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent assessment, communication, and case management skills.
Ability to travel within the locality to meet the demands of the role.
Salary and Benefits
Pay Rate: £20.02 per hour
Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working.
