Summary
A Vacancy at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Applications are invited for a fixed 3 month post of Clinical Fellow Higher (ST3-5/ST6+) in Paediatric Intensive Care at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust to commence from 07 May 2025 until 05 August 2025.
The post holder will work mainly in the Paediatric Department. Clinical and administrative duties will be equivalent to those working as Specialty Registrars.
The post holder will participate on the Middle Grade out of hour’s rota, which is a full shift pattern.
Those applying for a PICU post from a paediatric background should have had at least six months previous experience of NICU, and one year in Paediatrics; PICU experience is desirable.
Applications would also be welcomed from individuals with at least two years of experience of Anaesthesia, or Accident and Emergency; previous experience in PICU/AICU is essential.
In all cases MRCPCH or equivalent is essential.

Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.
The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC’s Good Medical Practice (2013). Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
