We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Adviser to join our team at YAS PO1. As a Personal Adviser, you will work closely with clients to identify their needs, provide informed advice, and develop personalized plans that drive progress and success. This position requires a passion for helping others and a commitment to fostering empowerment and independence among our clients. You will cultivate strong relationships with clients and collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support services are provided. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire others. You'll be responsible for keeping accurate records of your interactions and progress, ensuring confidentiality, and adhering to relevant policies and regulations. Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support and guidance to clients to help them achieve their personal and professional goals.
Assess clients' needs, interests, and skills to create tailored development plans.
Facilitate workshops and group sessions to educate clients on various topics related to personal development and career progression.
Collaborate with community resources and external partners to provide clients with additional support and opportunities.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes in compliance with organizational standards.
Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly to make necessary adjustments to their development plans.
Advocate for clients' needs and ensure they have access to appropriate resources and assistance.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as social work, psychology, or human services or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a similar advisory or support role, preferably working with diverse populations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Demonstrated ability to motivate and empower individuals to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Knowledge of local resources and services available to clients in need of support.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases effectively and efficiently.
