Summary
Allen Motor Group are looking to recruit a Rental Advisor for our KIA Dealership in Brentwood. You will be working to an efficient schedule whilst providing excellent customer service. This position is offered on a full time permanent contract, with a 40 hour working week, Monday – Friday paying £30,000 per annum with an OTE of £35,000 and reports to the Sales Manager.

Required Experience
Previous automotive experience isn’t required but would be advantageous for this position. What we do look for is a full clean driving licence that has been held for at least 12 months.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibility for the smooth running of the rental location through the consistent application of relevant processes.
Ensuring all reservations, bookings and enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently.
Assist the Sales Manager in identifying sales opportunities for both retail and corporate.
Ensuring the completion of the appropriate legal documentation (rental agreements), that customers meet the required criteria, and checking driving licenses and relevant documents.
Ensuring that GDPR legislation is always adhered to when handling customer data.
Managing the damage process and administering insurance claims.
Overseeing the preparation of rental vehicles to make sure that vehicles are delivered and collected promptly.
Following the correct check out / in procedure of vehicles including operation of the controls and damage.
Assist the Sales Manager in marketing and prospecting for new business – in line with dealer rental program guidelines, utilizing POS material and wherever possible off-site activities, i.e., product placement.
Maintaining the Rental System, completing all information required to ensure arcuate reporting to Management and account, for daily takings and payments.
