Summary
Job Overview
Premier Education is partnering with primary schools to deliver exceptional before and after school care. We aim to provide an innovative, inspiring, and safe environment for all children in our care. We are seeking an outstanding individual to lead and grow our Wraparound Care services at Merchant Taylors Prep School.
Hours of work - Monday - Friday 11am - 6pm
Responsibilities
· Leadership and Management:
o Lead and support the sites, ensuring tasks and compliance are managed effectively.
o Provide ongoing leadership and in-house training to staff, maintaining high standards of care.
o Conduct and lead meetings to discuss reports, new topics, and policies.
o Promote staff development through regular 1-1 sessions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
· Business Development:
o Consistently seek new business opportunities to expand the Wraparound Care services.
o Improve the overall delivery of Wraparound Care service within the school.
o Strategically planning and ensuring financial KPI’s related to business objectives are met
· Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure all venues comply with Ofsted regulations and standards.
o Liaise with Senior Leadership Teams and Governing Bodies regarding new provisions and implementation.
Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation, parents, schools and childcare and play related agencies.
Qualifications and Experience:
· Essential:
o Proven experience in a leadership role within child care or a similar environment.
o Strong organisational skills and the ability to work on your own initiative.
o Proven experience in budgeting and financial management.
o Competent in using IT for administrative purposes.
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Desirable:
o Current 12-hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate.
o Food Hygiene Certificate.
o Level 2 (or above) qualification in Child Care or a related field.
Salary - £25k - 27k per annum
