Summary
The roles available will be based in Blackpool (Peel Park) Glasgow (Atlantic Quay) Leeds (Quarry House) Newcastle (Benton Park View) Cardiff (Ty Taf, Treforest) Sheffield (Kings Court).
You will be asked for your preferences for up to 2 locations, these will tell us where you would prefer to work if you are successful. Please do not select a location unless you are prepared to accept a role in that location.
Please note, for vacancies based in Wales, the ability to speak Welsh is desirable.
On a typical day as a Data and MI Reporting Officer you will be responsible for managing a range of monthly tasks including data enquiries. This may range from extracting and interrogating systems and analysing data sets.
Utilising advanced knowledge of technical skills including MS Excel and Power BI, having a keen eye for detail.
As a Data & MI Reporting Officer you will also be responsible for working with the departments central PQ / FOI team, ensuring that these questions are answered correctly and consistently within timescales using a variety of data sources.

You will be working collaboratively and communicating with a range of stakeholders across the whole Department, including senior leaders when appropriate, in the delivery of our work priorities listed below.
Deliver a specified and agreed suite of MI reports and data/trend analysis to meet internal and external reporting requirements to agreed time and quality deadlines.
Target up skilling across the DWP community to enable self-service data retrieval and reporting where appropriate.
Support delivery of the People and Capability Data and Analytics Strategy and offer, especially reinforcing delivery of MI in the context of the self-service model.
Contribute to the development of Power BI Applications.
