Within this role you should expect to carry out the following:
- Safely operating forklifts to move, stack, and organize materials.
- Loading and unloading trucks, ensuring goods are handled with care.
- Conducting equipment checks to maintain safety and efficiency.
- Assisting with inventory control and warehouse organization.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily operational goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to certify).
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
This role is a Temporary to Permanent role.
This role is Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts of 06:00 to14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00
Hourly Pay Rate: £13.16,
Pay Increase: After 12 weeks, the rate will rise to £14.24 per hour, both including the 15% shift allowance.
Overtime Rates:
Weekday overtime: 1.3x the hourly rate.
Saturday (up to 6 hours): 1.5x the hourly rate.
Saturday (over 6 hours): 1.55x the hourly rate.
Sunday: 2x the hourly rate.
