Summary
Manpower are recruiting a Transport Hub Clerk in DE74 (4 on 4 off shift)
- Issue paperwork to drivers.
- Sense checking paperwork, producing or retrieving further paperwork as required.
- Trouble shoot issues, making key decisions as required, or liaise with appropriate department if available.
- Record comments and issues against individual jobs, transport runs and controlled spreadsheets.
- Communicate with various parts of the business to pass on info or retrieve answers.
- Retrieve paperwork from drivers, sorting and filing as required
- Adherence to site key control policy and procedures.
- Issuing and recording of temporary and final trailer and/or vehicle seals.
- Control the front desk window and driver's waiting area.
- Record and report Vehicle and equipment defects, coordinating VOR requirements.
- Answer incoming internal and external calls.
- Control visiting drivers unconnected to a department, such as maintenance, facilities etc.
Must have strong admin and customer service skills, experience in a transport based environment is desired.
£12.73 per hour
4 on 4 off shift - 6am-6pm
