Brentwood School and Community College specialise in the education of students with severe, profound and multiple learning difficulties, complex needs and autism. Brentwood benefits from state-of-the-art facilities which include a 11-19 school and post 19 college.
Due to the continuing growth of this highly successful school and college, we are looking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant who:
Has a proven understanding of working with SEN students with complex needs. You will be working with students in our Therapeutic Hub who have severe autism and associated behaviours and learning difficulties.
Can lead a class in the absence of a teacher
Has the ability to work closely with families and other professionals involved in students’ lives.
Demonstrates consistently high levels of professionalism and is a role model to other teaching assistants
