Summary
The Role of Cabin Operative:
As one of our Cabin Operatives, you will be responsible for maintaining and preparing accommodation cabins on a daily basis, supporting the Cabin Fitters, and assisting with various tasks as needed. You will play a vital role within our skilled JP Accommodation Team, ensuring our units meet the highest standards of quality. As a dedicated team player, you will take pride in your work and surroundings, delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your main duties will include the following:
> Support cabin fitters with breakdowns, repairs, and installations.
> Assist in the repair and replacement of damaged components within the cabins.
> Refurbish and paint accommodation units as necessary.
> Aid in the safe removal and decommissioning of cabins, including disconnecting services and dismantling units.
> Address customer concerns regarding the condition and functionality of the cabins.
> Inspect cabins and equipment for defects, escalating issues to the supervisor or manager when required.
> Prepare customer sites for cabin installations as needed.
> Assist with the loading and unloading of cabin equipment and accommodation units.
> Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, following safety protocols and best practices.
> Perform basic plumbing, joinery & electrical tasks*
**Assisting with the installation and setup of interior cabin components., basic plumbing such as connecting sinks and toilets, basic electrical work, including wiring lights and sockets, to ensure full functionality of services, basic joinery tasks involving furniture, materials, and units.

> Experience in cabin maintenance, repairs, or related construction/trade work is desirable.
> Basic joinery and plumbing skills
> The ability to perform a variety of tasks to a high standard.
> Strong attention to detail, especially when working within tight timeframes to meet customer requirements.
> The ability to work effectively with others team members to ensure success
> Committed to producing and maintaining high standards of workmanship in a busy and fast-paced environment.
> A valid CSCS card is desirable but not essential
