Summary

Directorate: Adult Care, Housing & Public Health

Permanent, part time, 25.5 hours per week, following a 4-week rota including weekend working. Weekend enhancements are paid. Shift time 9.30pm - 6.30am.

A Senior Night Care Assistant is required at Lord Hardy Court Residential Home, Rawmarsh.

Lord Hardy Court provides care to 60 older people, with a range of individual needs, and Mental Health problems including Dementia. The home also provides Step-Up Step-Down Beds.

NQF Level 2 qualification e.g. GCSEs Grades 4-9, NVQs Level 2, GNVQs Intermediate, City and Guilds Craft or Part 2,

Evidence of the equivalent level of knowledge gained through work experience

Senior Night Care Assistants are expected to contribute to the provision of a comfortable, stimulating homely environment, that meets CQC Fundamental l Standards of Care, maintain health and Safety and Dignity in Care Principles.

Senior Night Care Assistants are also expected to:-

Contribute and develop a customer focused service that is responsive and flexible regarding all customer needs.
To ensure person centred plans and risk assessments are carried out to the required standard.
To work and support the night care staff on shift across all units.

Lord Hardy Court operates a shift system on a rota basis, this includes weekends, bank holidays, and cover is required up to 37 hours for leave and sickness.
