Role: Industrial Print Service Technician

Location: Field based across the East Midlands Area - This role will also include training periods and visits to our offices in Langenhagen Germany

Package: £40,000 - £45,000 plus 10% bonus & Car Allowance

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Print Technical Specialist to join our team, delivering exceptional service and support to our customers while maintaining field efficiencies and driving profitability for Konica Minolta.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be working with our KM-1e a brand new to market strategic product!

This is a next-generation model, and as the Industrial Print specialist, you will receive expert training, all the latest updates, and you will educate our internal teams and customers on everything KM1-e.'

As a trusted representative of Konica Minolta, you'll respond to call-outs with professionalism and efficiency, diagnose and resolve technical faults, and implement all necessary technical modifications. This may involve work outside standard office hours, national travel, and occasional overnight stays to meet customer needs. In addition, you will act as a key communication channel between customers, the Service Team, and other areas of the business to ensure a seamless service experience.

This role covers a dynamic and challenging environment within the Industrial Print sector, requiring technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and a commitment to excellence.

Core Responsibilities:

- To provide advice and training to customers on all aspects of the machine's functions and maintenance to ensure customers are fully aware of and utilise the full capabilities of installed device.
- To undertake all repairs in a safe manner and in accordance with manufacturers recommendations and Health & Safety legislation.
- To complete all necessary reporting requirements and paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all reporting and paperwork requirements.
- Effectively utilize technology tools, such as laptops, to access technical documentation, continuously improving service delivery.
- Maintain clear communication regarding on-site parts and consumables, advising customers to ensure readiness and minimize operational disruptions.

What We're Looking For:

- Technical expertise and a solutions-driven mindset to tackle complex challenges in the Industrial Print environment.
- Strong English language skills for effective communication both internally and externally.
- ITIL trained – Desirable
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to work flexibly, including outside standard hours, as required.
- A commitment to upholding high standards of organization, safety, and customer service.
