About the Role:
As a Baby Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in shaping the earliest experiences of our babies. You will be responsible for creating a warm, safe, and engaging space for babies aged 6 months old, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Daily you will be:
• Building strong relationships with each child and their families, ensuring a seamless transition from home to nursery.
• Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity and facilitate growth across various developmental domains.
• Observing and documenting children's progress, tailoring your approach to meet individual needs and interests.
• Collaborating with our dedicated team to enhance our nursery's creative and inclusive learning environment.
• Promoting a culture of respect, communication, and open dialogue among children, families, and colleagues.
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
• A recognised early years qualification (Level 3 or above) and a solid understanding of child development.
• Experience working with children under 2 years
• A creative and innovative mind-set, with a passion for implementing engaging activities and experiences.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, families, and colleagues.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
