Summary
Saxon Furniture in Bolton are recruiting for an Apprentice Fabric and Leather Cutter. The successful candidate will work towards completing a Level 2 Furniture Product Developer apprenticeship over the duration of 24 months.
Description:
• An Upholstery Cutting apprentice will progress through a structured training plan culminating in achieving a L2 furniture standard qualification
• During this training they will gain experience in a variety of different disciplines within the production environment with a focus on their specialism. A keen eye for detail is required.
• Learning all aspects of the cutting process
• Using hand and power tools to produce both fabric and leather components
Requirements:
• Expected to be fully flexible
• Enthusiastically contribute to the team production effort wherever they are needed
Hours:
Monday - Thursday 7:00-4:30pm, 30 mins lunch and 2 x 15 minute breaks, 36 hours per week
