Summary
Overview: We are seeking experienced Electricians with a valid JIB card to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
Responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Installing and maintaining wiring, control, and lighting systems
- Inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers
- Identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices
- Repairing or replacing wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools
Qualifications:
- Valid JIB card
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelines
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Day-to-day:
- Collaborating with construction teams to install electrical systems in new buildings
- Responding to electrical issues and troubleshooting problems
- Conducting regular maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
- Ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and materials used
