Summary
Are you an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a temporary position in Wednesfield? Look no further! Our client in the driving industry is currently seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join their team. Our client is looking for someone to move Class 1 vehicles around the yard and shunt. A clean licence is preferred and due to the nature of the work it would suit someone who has experience on the HGVs. Work would be Sunday nights starting at 18:00 through till 0500 / 0600 on Monday mornings. Key responsibilities:- Safely operate a HGV Class 1 vehicle- Transport goods in a timely manner- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations- Complete necessary paperwork and logbooks- Ensure the vehicle is properly maintained and report any issuesQualifications required:- Valid HGV Class 1 license- CPC qualification- Previous experience in a similar role- Good understanding of tachograph regulations- Strong communication skillsThe pay rate for this position is £22 per hour.
