Summary

m2r Education are working with a leading further and higher education provider in Cambridgeshire who are looking for an Internal Quality Assurer in Culinary Arts, Catering and Hospitality.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated industry specialist to be involved in the quality assurance of the region's future aspiring Chefs and Hospitality teams throughout the Apprenticeship and Adult programmes.

Reporting to the Work Based Learning Manager, you will be required to support the department in line with college procedures, Awarding Organisations and maintain accurate, detailed written and computer-generated records for audit and compliance. You must be able to competently demonstrate a wide range of personal and current industry sector skills to ensure effective quality assurance and CPD in line with the AO requirements

This role is on variable hours, part-time basis for approximately 45 hours over the academic year.

Requirements:

Appropriate industry qualificaitons in Catering and Hospitality to Level 3 or above
Current occupational competency in Catering and Hospitality is essential
IQA qualification
Prior experience in a similar IQA/training role
Ability to work flexibly when required including evening, weekend and summer holiday periods
In possession of current driving license, and be willing to use own car, insured for business use, or alternative means to travel.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail, organised, motivated and a team player.
Enhanced DBS on the update service

Salary:

£22.26 per hour

45 hours over the academic year

Immediate hire based on notice period etc
